From alcohol abstinence to socialization or culinary rituals. The latter is the result of a conclusion reached by the British Italian restaurant chain <strong>Prezzo<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The results of its survey of more than <strong>2,000 people<\/strong> focused on the fact that most of them admitted to suffering from &#8216;<strong>menu anxiety<\/strong>&#8216; in restaurants. The theme of the study, which was based on measuring &#8216;the pleasure they felt when eating out&#8217;, would lead to surprising results such as that 86% of Generation Z had been affected by this overwhelming feeling when ordering food.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Menu anxiety is mainly due to <strong>three triggers<\/strong>: the cost of food, not finding something they like on the menu and regretting what they ordered. More than a third of millennials also said that having too many choices on the menu also complicated the situation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In this sense, 38% of Generation Z and millennials stated that they would not go to a restaurant if they had not looked at the menu beforehand; and a third of them also stated that they used to ask other people to order for them in restaurants due to the anxiety it generated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Finally, another of the reasons that make it difficult for young people to manage ordering in restaurants is their use of social networks.
