A trail that <strong>Bob Dylan<\/strong>&#8216;s <strong>favorite Christmas recipe<\/strong> has just followed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the Christmas special &#8216;<strong>Christmas &amp; New Year<\/strong>&#8216; (2006), holiday classics like &#8216;Silent Night&#8217; or &#8216;Jingle Bells&#8217; to carols like &#8216;A Party For Santa&#8217; would be played. But what would really resonate on the show would be their most beloved recipe of the season: <strong>Figgy Pudding<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe title=\"Bob Dylan - Christmas &amp; New Year&#039;s - Theme Time Radio Hour\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/PKgiGBlUNz8?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Figgy Pudding<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Faced with great demand from his fans,<strong> Bob<\/strong> decided to make them happy by revealing the fig pudding recipe, which we present below. &#8216;I get a lot of letters asking for this: here&#8217;s my fig pudding recipe,&#8217; he says on Theme Time Radio Hour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8216;First, 4 ounces plain flour, a pinch of salt, 4 ounces bread crumbs, 4 ounces crumbled suet, 1 teaspoon assorted spices, 1 teaspoon baking powder, 3 ounces dark brown sugar, 8 ounces chopped dried figs, fine zest and juice of 1 lemon, 2 tablespoons milk, and 2 beaten eggs,&#8217; she explains.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once you have the ingredients, &#8216;sift in the salt and flour and mix in the rest of the dry ingredients. Add the figs, lemon zest and juice, milk and beaten eggs, and beat well. The mixture should have a smooth dropping consistency.
