The El Triangular\u00ae<\/strong> football tournament transcends the classic matches to bring together on the pitch a series of gastronomic teams made up of 3 of the most relevant brands in Spain’s street food scene.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In mid-October, the creative studio specialising in post-football MATINAL FC <\/strong>brought together these references of burger, pizza and kebab in an urban key; while celebrating the culture of the third half through the intersection and\/or connection between football and gastronomy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event brought together teams from VICIO<\/strong>, GROSSO <\/strong>and JEKES<\/strong> in a 5-a-side football tournament with a winner stays format. Each team curated a selection of players made up of staff and creative talent friends of the brand who would play against each other in a series of matches in their representative blokecore aesthetic kits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the run-up to the event, the team captains and the MATINAL team also met for lunch <\/strong>at a well-known Korean restaurant<\/strong> in Madrid; functioning as a reinterpretation of the traditional professional football managers’ lunch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But the culinary tournament did not end there.
