Several organisations, entities and libraries have joined the cause by opening spaces in which to store basic necessities to send to the areas of Valencia most affected by the hurricane.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Barcelona City Council<\/strong>, in collaboration with <strong>Banc dels Aliments<\/strong>, has set up a total of 14 public libraries to collect food and basic necessities. The libraries are mainly asking for products such as milk, canned food, pre-cooked food (vegetables, meat, fish), baby food, nappies and feminine hygiene products. The collection will last until <strong>8 November<\/strong>. Where? At all the points listed below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Biblioteca Barceloneta &#8211; La Fraternitat.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Biblioteca Fort Pienc &#8211; Ana Mar\u00eda Moix.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Biblioteca Vapor Vell.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Biblioteca Montserrat Abell\u00f3.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Biblioteca Les Corts &#8211; Miquel Llongueras.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Biblioteca Sant Gervasi-Joan Maragall.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Biblioteca Jaume Fuster.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Biblioteca Vallcarca i els Penitents-M. Antonieta Cot.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Biblioteca El Carmel-Juan Mars\u00e9.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Biblioteca Horta-Can Mariner.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Biblioteca Nou Barris-Aurora D\u00edaz Plaja.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Biblioteca Bon Pastor-Josefina Castellv\u00ed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Biblioteca Trinitat Vella-Jos\u00e9 Barbero.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Biblioteca Camp de l&#8217;Arpa-Caterina Albert.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Similarly, as was to be expected, <strong>Caritas<\/strong> and<strong> Cruz Roja<\/strong> have intervened in the social movement through donations. The former will help those affected with transfers to the account number ES45 0049 1892 6421 1055 3738 (Santander) or ES54 0081 0216 7000 0218 7226 (Sabadell). For the Creu Roja, they can be made by telephone on 900 104 971, or on the Bizum number 33512.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mercabarna is also joining the Barcelona City Council&#8217;s initiatives by providing financial support to the Banc dels Aliments de Val\u00e8ncia (ES86 2100 2806 6402 0009 8998).
