Organizations, food banks and chefs from various restaurants have joined forces to mobilize for the cause and help the victims of the severe flooding of the Mediterranean coast caused by torrential rains.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In order to alleviate this desolate panorama, and help all those affected, the NGO of activist chef <strong>Jos\u00e9 Andr\u00e9s<\/strong> called &#8216;World Central Kitchen&#8217; has carried out various social actions such as supplying drinking water with tankers to certain municipalities.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"458\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tapasmagazine.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/d-1024x458.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-268262\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.tapasmagazine.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/d-1024x458.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.tapasmagazine.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/d-300x134.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.tapasmagazine.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/d-768x343.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.tapasmagazine.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/d-1000x447.jpg 1000w, https:\/\/www.tapasmagazine.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/d-400x179.jpg 400w, https:\/\/www.tapasmagazine.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/d.jpg 1230w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">WCK en Valencia.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>&#8216;WCK Relief Team members are on the road to help meet the food and water needs of communities. More than a month&#8217;s worth of rain has fallen in a single day, flooding roads and homes, overflowing rivers and destroying crops along the Mediterranean coast. According to the Spanish meteorological agency, one station recorded the heaviest rainfall in a 24-hour period in Valencia since 1996. The duo has set up one of their bakeries, Central de Postres, as the nerve center of operations, making thousands of sandwiches together with a number of volunteers.
