National Football League<\/strong> teams eat huge amounts of peanut butter and jelly-filled ‘uncrustables<\/strong>‘ during the season. Specifically, about 80,000 per year, as The Athletic has reflected in its new report.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The NFL teams’ obsession with these ‘PB&Js’ has baffled everyone from the media to the league’s devotees, who can’t understand this sort of cult-like attachment to this nostalgic childhood snack. So much so that Jayson Jenks <\/strong>of The Athletic says that NFL locker room trash cans are filling up with Uncrustables wrappers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
