Decorating the inside of the fridge is a trend that not only looks good, gives you peace of mind and romanticises your life, but also helps you to waste less food. Fridgescaping <\/strong>combines functionality with design based on the organisation of food through a colossal arrangement of flowers or beautiful containers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Although the term has only recently become popular on the internet, the concept was coined in 2010 by blogger Kathy Perdue <\/strong>of Good Life of Design<\/strong>. Its name is a play on words between fridge and tablescaping.<\/p>\n\n\n

Users and content creators are now versioning this online trend, decorating their fridges with roses, candles, design accessories, photos, sculptures or ornate trays. A creative practice in which, beyond its aesthetic value, it avoids food waste by facilitating meal planning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
