Kim Bui <\/strong>and her husband, Tim Bui<\/strong>, are the owners behind the Californian bakery Polar Playground, which bases its culinary practice on a fusion of art, science and chemistry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The nostalgia of candyfloss and characters fuels these creations made with only sugar, air, colourings and flavourings; forming an animated cast that transcends the abstract form of the cloud to transform it into a creative piece that ranges from unicorns or koalas to pop culture characters such as the ninja turtles or different Pok\u00e9mons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
