The Spanish group achieved higher profitability last year thanks to the implementation of a series of expansionary strategies in all its markets. However, one market in particular stood out above the rest: the United States, which accounts for a third of the group’s total revenues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ebro Foods, the company chaired by Antonio Hern\u00e1ndez Callejas, recorded a turnover of 1,054 million euro in the US, according to the figures in the 2023 annual financial report. This represents an increase of 18% compared to the previous year. The US market accounted for 34% of the company’s global turnover, which exceeded 3 billion euros.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The same report shows that in Europe, the food multinational posted a turnover of 1,114 million at the end of last year. That is, an increase of 1.6%, confirming its high status as the second largest region for Ebro Foods, after North America.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The group’s turnover in Spain amounted to 246.5 million euro, up 7.6% on the 229 million euro posted a year earlier in its local market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the other hand, the group’s strategic plan based on short-term deposits would promote the profitability of its investments, going from having 44.4 million in short-term deposits to 197.5 million at the end of 2023.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
