As can be seen in the clip, Jen spoons the flour and levels it into a measuring cup instead of scooping it with the spoon. This technique compacts the flour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The dry and wet ingredients are then whisked together until they are unified, regardless of any lumps. The result is then poured into the mould, sprinkled with raw sugar from edge to edge. Then bake in the oven for an hour until the top is caramelised.
