{"id":242027,"date":"2024-03-21T11:18:40","date_gmt":"2024-03-21T10:18:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.tapasmagazine.es\/familia-martinez-factura-440-millones-de-euros-en-2023\/"},"modified":"2024-03-21T11:23:40","modified_gmt":"2024-03-21T10:23:40","slug":"familia-martinez-had-turnover-440-million-euros-in-2023","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.tapasmagazine.es\/en\/familia-martinez-had-turnover-440-million-euros-in-2023\/","title":{"rendered":"Familia Mart\u00ednez had a turnover of 440 million euros in 2023"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Click <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tapasmagazine.es\/familia-martinez-factura-440-millones-de-euros-en-2023\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">here<\/a> to read the Spanish version.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The corporation, which integrates four leading companies in the Spanish food industry -Embutidos Mart\u00ednez, Platos Tradicionales, Cinco Tenedores and La Pila Food-, closed last year with a 14% increase in turnover.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In recent years, <strong>Familia Mart\u00ednez<\/strong> has managed to combat the hostility caused by inflation, rising energy prices and the scarcity of raw materials through resilience, increased product volume, investment and innovation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In this sense, <strong>Embutidos Mart\u00ednez<\/strong>, a national leader in the production of fresh and cured sausages, as well as burger meat and premium hamburgers, has invested a total of 8 million euros, mainly in the optimisation and robotisation of its plant in Cheste.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In its five industrial plants, it reached the figure of<strong> 87 million kilos<\/strong> in 2023, 4.5% more than the previous year, backed by investment and the work of its workforce of some 1,800 people working in the different companies that make it up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Continued investment, people and the search for value in its products have led Mercadona&#8217;s supplier to end the year with a net profit of close to<strong> 27 million euros<\/strong>, which allows it to continue with its strategy, overcoming the two previous difficult years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;We are satisfied with the results obtained. These have been complicated years for Familia Mart\u00ednez, in which we have carried out a very difficult year for the company.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>An investment of 17 million euros<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>With <strong>17 million euros invested<\/strong> in <strong>2023 <\/strong>between the different companies and with innoValor as a common denominator, Familia Mart\u00ednez continues its mission and its strategic plan to become an international benchmark in the food sector through a policy of reinvesting profits over the coming years, as well as creating new spaces and increasing its production lines.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Click here to read the Spanish version.
