Travis Kelce <\/strong>has travelled with Taylor Swift<\/strong> -and the media spotlight- to the great fashionable restaurants around the world, demonstrating the love for gastronomy that also unites them. However, the NFL star<\/strong> has now wanted to go one step further and open his own culinary project with his friend and teammate Patrick Mahomes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The duo will open a modern, experimental steakhouse<\/strong> in Kansas City <\/strong>that will pay homage to their combined jersey numbers: ’15 – 87′. It will be backed by Noble 33, also known as the hospitality group behind some of Kelce’s favourite places like Toca Madera, Casa Madera, Sparrow Italia or Meduza Mediterrania.<\/p>\n\n\n

1587<\/strong> will open in early 2025<\/strong> under a grand structure and space spread over 3,000 square metres spread over two floors; which will be represented with subtle nods to Patrick and Travis’ achievements on the playing field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

‘Working with Patrick and Travis has been incredible. As long-time supporters of our other restaurants, we worked together to combine their favourite elements of those experiences into what we developed for 1587 Prime,’ Noble 33 co-founder Tosh Berman told GMA. ‘They are natural hosts and can’t wait to bring a unique modern American steakhouse experience to Kansas City.’<\/p>\n\n\n
