This liquor originating in Okinawa is characterized by containing the local Habu snake inside, which is fermented inside to mature as long as possible. The drink itself is made with Thai rice and a black mold called k\u014dji that distills a high alcohol content. In its bottle, on many occasions, the snake is put in while still alive, which ends up dying quickly.<\/p>\n\n\n
