The Spanish craft brewery Cervezas La Virgen<\/a> has announced the cessation of its activity, which will also entail the dismissal of its 78 workers. Thereafter, a process of “dialogue and negotiation” will be opened with the unions, as well as the closure of its establishments, as reported by Europa Press.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this regard, the company has explained that it will cease its activity both in its factory and in the taproom and bars, as it currently has six different premises of La Virgen, which are distributed in Majadahonda, Alcorc\u00f3n and four in Madrid capital.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“We have faced a complex situation in terms of obtaining permits for the company’s flagship location in Las Rozas. This fact, combined with the difficult financial situation, has led Cervezas La Virgen to take this difficult decision,” the craft brewery has assured. It should be remembered that in December it had already announced that it was forced to close its factory in Las Rozas<\/a>, but it was confident that this was a temporary decision and that a reasonable solution to the doubts of the City Council could be found, something that finally could not be.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this way, the company has assured that it will carry out this process with the “utmost respect” for its workers, with the aim of reaching an agreement that minimizes, as far as possible, the social impact of this decision.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
