The pico de gallo is a sauce or kind of salad that is used in a lot of Mexican dishes. It gets that name because its ingredients are finely chopped, leaving a result similar to the food served to these birds. You can take it alone, include it in tacos or guacamole, among other options. All you have to do is finely chop each of the ingredients.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Start with the onion using a brunoise cut. First cut it into slices without going all the way through. Then make equal cuts, first horizontally and then vertically. You will get thin cubes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Do the same with the tomato and then chop the cilantro finely, without shredding the leaves too much.
