We went back and forth. I had a conversation with him. He wanted to go on. He [the waiter] was absolutely shocked,&#8217; manager <strong>Tim Sweeney <\/strong>conceded to <strong>WOOD-TV<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But what was the real motive behind the tip? The mystery customer was in town to attend the funeral of a friend, and that tip would transcend emotionally as a tribute or homage to his memory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The restaurant&#8217;s <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/C3BAZNuP5pf\/?utm_source=ig_embed&amp;ig_rid=0b0f57a0-b971-4621-aba9-16ab72dd5689\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Instagram<\/a><\/strong> account shared a photo accompanied by the following caption: &#8216;At a time when so much is going on, we wanted to share and thank the person who did this life-changing act.
