The chain’s community has been asking for it for some time. McDonald’s <\/strong>has now fulfilled their wish.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

‘Don’t call me Muffin, call me McDalena<\/strong>‘, reads the slogan of this official event that now hangs on a large banner in Alcal\u00e1 street with which McDonald’s announces the change. One that has ended up going viral on the internet, along with images of the chocolate and salted caramel versions of the sweet, by the same people who demanded this ‘lost marketing’ opportunity, requesting its official incorporation into the desserts on their menu.<\/p>\n\n\n

In parallel to the activation, the official account of McDonald’s Spanish subsidiary uploaded a video on Instagram of a cupcake with a ‘Hello my name is Muffin’ sign attached to it travelling through several streets and riding the Metro until it reached the Single Civil Registry of the Community of Madrid. When she leaves the building, she has transformed into McDalena.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The company then materialises this strategy by including in its McCaf\u00e9 menu <\/strong>the Spanish version of the muffin in two flavours of chocolate and caramel called McDalenas<\/strong>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
