Since then, it has had an exponential growth, expanding throughout the capital also with different premises. One of its central axes has always been the factory in Las Rozas, located in the Pol\u00edgono Eur\u00f3polis in Las Rozas. A few days ago the brand announced on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/C0ym3GBtl4n\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">its Instagram<\/a> that it was forced to close this establishment, because the authorities had so notified it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to some sources, the City Council of Las Rozas denied the license for consumption in that facility -except for tastings or internal events-, so it notified its closure. However, as pointed out by La Virgen, they hope that this is &#8220;a temporary decision&#8221; and that they can find a &#8220;reasonable solution to the doubts of the City Council&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tapasmagazine.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/La-Virgen-Las-Rozas.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tapasmagazine.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/La-Virgen-Las-Rozas-1024x576.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-225985\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.tapasmagazine.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/La-Virgen-Las-Rozas-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.tapasmagazine.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/La-Virgen-Las-Rozas-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.tapasmagazine.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/La-Virgen-Las-Rozas-768x432.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.tapasmagazine.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/La-Virgen-Las-Rozas-1000x563.jpg 1000w, https:\/\/www.tapasmagazine.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/La-Virgen-Las-Rozas-400x225.jpg 400w, https:\/\/www.tapasmagazine.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/La-Virgen-Las-Rozas.jpg 1200w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to the brewery, inside the premises La Virgen had also opened a brewup, an establishment where, in addition to brewing craft beer, they also gave the option of selling and consuming it right there, accompanied by a food menu. This was the reason why the City Council decided to close the premises, since being located in an industrial site, it is not allowed to have a bar for the consumption of drinks and food -with its corresponding kitchen-. For this reason, it definitively denied the permit, and now the brand is looking for a solution to the situation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Remain open at all other locations<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Cervezas La Virgen has communicated that its main objective now is to &#8220;redeploy our employees to other locations to maintain their job security while we continue to serve our customers&#8221;. For the time being, they continue with their normal activity in the rest of the premises in the capital: Majadahonda, Alcorc\u00f3n, their premises in Madrid (Chamber\u00ed Market, Vallhermoso Market, San Fernando Market and the one in Jos\u00e9 Abascal Street).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Click here to read the Spanish version.Cervezas La Virgen has become a representative brand since Jaime Riesgo and Ana Coello launched it to the market in 2011.
