There’s nothing like going viral to revive any business. This is what must have happened to a small Japanese izakaya. According to some local media reports, Shachihoko-ya<\/a>, located in the city of Nagoya, was going through a bad economic moment and was considering closing down. Following old videos showing how the restaurant in Japan offered a slaps service to diners for an extra \u20ac2, it received an avalanche of visitors who wanted to try the peculiar service before meals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As can be seen in the video that has gone viral, these are not simple caresses, they are full-fledged slaps. In fact, according to the narration of the viral video that echoed the violent performance, “the harder the staff (in this case female) slapped them, the more excited the customers got”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
