Put a pot of water to boil, along with a pinch of salt. When it comes to a boil, add the potatoes and lower the heat to medium. Cook for 20-25 minutes. Set aside.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Then, return the empty pot to medium heat and add the brandy. Let it boil for 3-5 minutes until slightly reduced and the alcohol evaporates. Then add the butter until it melts.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Whisk the cream and mayonnaise and add to the pot. Let it cook until everything thickens slightly, for about 5 minutes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Then add the potatoes to the pot and season to taste.
