After releasing the critically acclaimed hit album ‘Hackney Dimonds’, the band now decides to shake up the alcohol sector with their new brand of rum entitled ‘Crossfire Hurricane<\/strong>‘.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Inspired by the opening lyrics of their legendary song ‘Jumpin’ Jack Flash’ (1968), the drink is presented as a blend of rums from Jamaica, Barbados and the Dominican Republic, aged for five years in charred oak barrels.<\/p>\n\n\n

The electricity of flavours runs through this 40% abv liquid, which exudes notes of caramelised banana, tropical fruit and wood, with a subtle sweet finish. The golden hue, meanwhile, evokes the golden sunshine of the Caribbean coast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The band tunes in to the drink by clarifying that ‘the boisterous energy and music of the Caribbean has taken hold of the group over the decades’, as well as adding that Jagger and Richards ‘often settle on the islands when the band is not touring’, referring to their connection to the land. The Stones recorded, for example, their album ‘Goats Head Soup’ in Kingston, Jamaica, while other tracks such as ‘Hackney Diamonds’ were recorded in the Bahamas.<\/p>\n\n\n
