The century-old winery<\/strong>, a benchmark in the wine industry since 1858, which inaugurated the City of Wine<\/strong> in 2006 with a building designed by architect Frank O. Gehry, now reaffirms its high reputation in the wine industry, being awarded the second prize for the best vineyard in the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the 2021 and 2022 editions, Marqu\u00e9s de Riscal<\/strong> was also chosen as the second best vineyard and winery in the world in the prestigious ranking of the best wine tourism destinations in the world. A recognition of the powerful heritage of this winery, and the continuous effort of its entire team that, beyond its wines, offers visitors a universe of innovative wine tourism experiences of the highest level.<\/p>\n\n\n

WORLD’S BEST VINEYARDS 2023<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In this particular edition in which Rioja<\/strong> has hosted the celebration of the World’s Best Vineyards 2023, Alejandro Aznar<\/strong>, president of the company, attended the ceremony and collected the award from the organizer of the event, Andrew Reed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the ceremony, Marqu\u00e9s de Riscal wished to congratulate Bodegas Beronia<\/strong>, host of the gala where the list of the 50 wineries included in the competition was announced, as well as the other Spanish wineries included in the prestigious ranking.<\/p>\n\n\n

The company extended its congratulations to the rest of the participating wineries and, in particular, to Argentina’s Catena Zapata<\/strong>, which came first in the ranking.
