Mallorca has become one of the most magical islands of the national landscape, which, beyond being surrounded by wild coves, is structured around a local architecture with Mediterranean-style buildings and beautiful squares that have positioned it as one of the destinations in which to escape from the fervor of the city, and be stimulated by the beauty and experiences that unfolds: from the local culinary essence, to the small towns that remain relatively unspoiled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

FRIDAY 7<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We had more than enough reasons to head this weekend to this refuge in the middle of the sea, and what better way to do it than as a guest of the Hotel Coraz\u00f3n, the new artistic oasis located halfway between Dei\u00e0 and S\u00f3ller?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Hotel Coraz\u00f3n <\/strong>is established as a renovated historic estate, run by artists, for artists, friends, as well as like-minded strangers who want to delve into that aesthetic universe composed of workshops, sound baths, guided walks, agriculture, music sessions and art exhibitions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In that place bathed in pastel pink, we will stay in one of its designer rooms called ‘Holy Wood<\/strong>‘, a suite located on the second floor, surrounded by the creative spirit of the hotel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/a><\/figure>\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

We will continue to stimulate that creative energy at the Fran Reus Gallery<\/strong>, which hosts this Friday the collective exhibition of Aba Art Lab<\/strong> and M77 Gallery<\/strong>. A new edition of Art Palma Summer that will bring contemporary creation to people who want to know the most current art through a guided tour of all his works, and the meaning and conceptual depth of his paintings. Where and when? Friday at 5 p.m. at Passeig de Mallorca, 4.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Without leaving the historic center of Palma, we will walk to the iconic Beatnik <\/strong>restaurant, located inside Purohotel Palma<\/strong>. A cozy space from which we will taste the star creations of the famous chef Le\u00f3n Altamirano<\/strong>, such as his ceviche, prawns or duck breast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SATURDAY 8<\/strong>TH<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We wake up in the northwest of the island, and we head to the Fundaci\u00f3 Joan Mir\u00f3<\/strong>: an architectural project designed by Josep Llu\u00eds Sert, which has become one of the key spots for lovers of contemporary art. There, we can enter the residence of Joan and Pilar Mir\u00f3, and contemplate the work of the Mallorcan artist, which includes more than 6000 pieces, including sketches, drawings, paintings and sculptures, as well as his two creative workshops.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

With the aim of creating a propitious creative space, Mir\u00f3 populated his studio with a heterogeneous set of elements that coexist in perfect harmony with his work tools. Still today the workshop shows this creative environment, and canvases, oils, watercolors, pencils, brushes, brushes or sponges continue to relate to his collection of objects of the most varied origins: postcards, newspaper clippings, natural elements such as stones, butterflies or shells, objects from the popular Mediterranean culture as “siurells” or nativity scene figurines, and others from distant cultures such as the “katxinas” of the Hopi Indians or the masks of Oceania. ‘, read the Foundation’s notes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After exploring Mir\u00f3’s work, we will head to the Santa Catalina area to visit Spot<\/strong>, from the Tragaluz group<\/strong>: a restaurant that evokes the spirit of the C\u00f4te d’Azur in the 70’s, where we can eat from its interior garden, and enjoy the fusion cuisine with Mediterranean and Japanese influences that identify it. From Japanese red tuna tacos to its crispy Peking-style duck with wafers, in the middle of a cosmopolitan atmosphere fused with the personality of the island.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From this culinary scenario, we will go to another paradise located a few kilometers from the restaurant, where we will spend the whole afternoon until sunset. And we will do it in one of the most beautiful coves of the rocky area, ‘Cala Egos<\/strong>‘, and the natural pool that hides among its rocks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

DOMINGO<\/strong> 9<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

On Sunday we will move to the north of the island to pray gastronomically from the Bistro Jard\u00edn<\/strong> de Maca de Castro<\/strong>. A restaurant that flourished in 2011, and has been germinating since then the avant-garde Mediterranean haute cuisine inspired by the renowned chef’s Mallorcan product, which also transmits the essence of Nouvelle cuisine. Our recommendation? The seafood ravioli with caldereta and the grilled octopus with olive mayonnaise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Without leaving the northern area of Alc\u00fadia<\/strong>, we will visit the new beach club \/ restaurant of Playas de Muro ‘Numa Beach<\/strong>‘. An emerging project that renews the old ‘Royal Beach’ based on sophistication and Mediterranean inspiration. There, in the middle of the beach and vegetation, we will enjoy some of their own cocktails like the Tropical Pisco or the Coco-Bora.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
