Sopaipas cordobesas are so called because it is a term from Arabic meaning &#8220;fried dough&#8221;. They are thin slices of fried dough that serve as an accompaniment to breakfasts, snacks or desserts and are usually eaten with chocolate. It is a very simple recipe and, if you want to try something different, here we show you the step by step.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ingredients:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>600 g flour<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 sachet Yeast<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1\/2 l Water<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 tablespoon salt<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Olive oil<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Preparation:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Heat a saucepan with water and salt. When it dissolves, remove from the heat and add the yeast. Gradually add the flour little by little, stirring until the dough acquires consistency.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Take it out of the bowl and knead it by hand. Put it on a plate and let it rest for two hours. Form small balls and stretch each one to cut them in a rectangular shape.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Put abundant oil in a frying pan and fry the portions. Leave them on a plate with absorbent paper to remove excess oil.
