Byakuya<\/strong> -or ‘White Knight’- is officially the most expensive ice cream on the planet. This has been certified by Guinness World Records<\/a>, announcing this delicious record on social networks: “It costs more than a vacation,” they warn. But those who have tried it say it is a glorious gastronomic experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“They say the aroma of white truffle<\/strong> floods the mouth and nose, followed by the complex, fruity flavors of Parmigiano Reggiano<\/strong> and sake lees<\/strong>,” they note on their website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The creators of Byakuya, the Japanese ice cream brand Cellato, set out to conquer the Guinness World Records title by creating a unique dessert with unusual ingredients that fused the best of two worlds<\/strong>: Europe and Japan. And that exclusivity translates into a stratospheric price: 873,400 Japanese yen; or, in other words, 6,211 euros<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
