{"id":186077,"date":"2023-05-11T10:46:19","date_gmt":"2023-05-11T08:46:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.tapasmagazine.es\/?p=186077"},"modified":"2023-05-11T11:00:26","modified_gmt":"2023-05-11T09:00:26","slug":"this-is-labadia-petramora-new-cheese-factory","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.tapasmagazine.es\/en\/this-is-labadia-petramora-new-cheese-factory\/","title":{"rendered":"This is Labad\u00eda, Petramora&#8217;s new cheese factory"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Click <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tapasmagazine.es\/asi-es-labadia-la-nueva-queseria-de-petramora\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">here<\/a> to read the Spanish version.<\/strong><br>Petramora has just presented its own cheese dairy, <a href=\"https:\/\/petramora.com\/collections\/lacteos-labadia\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Labad\u00eda de Petramora<\/a>, where it gives undisputed prominence to a product such as milk, which represents its farmers and cheese makers, its sheep and the original values of Petramora, demonstrating that livestock and nature can coexist in perfect harmony.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This new cheese factory is located in a unique enclave, the Dehesa de la Guada\u00f1a, his Zamora farm of more than 680 hectares, which is perfect for his sheep (native breed of Castilla y Le\u00f3n) to graze in total freedom, and feed on pasture and fodder from the pasture itself. In addition, the area borders 4 km of the Esla River, which also provides unlimited fresh water for all the animals in a landscape full of holm oaks, ash trees, white poplars, poplars and crop fields.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tapasmagazine.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/labadia-petramora.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tapasmagazine.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/labadia-petramora-1024x576.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-185917\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.tapasmagazine.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/labadia-petramora-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.tapasmagazine.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/labadia-petramora-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.tapasmagazine.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/labadia-petramora-768x432.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.tapasmagazine.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/labadia-petramora-1000x563.jpg 1000w, https:\/\/www.tapasmagazine.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/labadia-petramora-400x225.jpg 400w, https:\/\/www.tapasmagazine.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/labadia-petramora.jpg 1200w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>In this way, we obtain the production of a unique milk in its composition, with a higher amount of fat and protein, sweet and creamy, which is collected with the utmost care in small daily productions of between 160 and 200 liters of fresh milk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What foods are produced in Labad\u00eda?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Among its products, the fresh sheep cheese stands out, made with fresh pasteurized milk and rennet, resulting in an unripened, early and fresh cheese with a lower percentage of fat.
