One of the distilleries that made this distilled beverage famous ceased to exist forever in 2001: Japan&#8217;s Karuizawa, a legend in this liquid universe that served a whole display of whiskies as authentic rarities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The distillery on the southern slope of Mount Asama, an active volcano, then evaporated, and all its bottles became highly coveted collector&#8217;s items.
