When you peel an orange, it is very common to remove the white part of the skin -called ‘albedo’-, because it is usually bitter and more annoying. Sometimes it is a tedious task because it is not so easy to remove, but we have found a trick that will simplify it for you. Although you should know that this is precisely one of the most nutritious and healthiest parts of oranges. Specifically, this peel has a phenolic compound content between 15 and 20 times higher than that of the segments.
