The organization calls for an end to subsidies to the livestock industry and for that money to be used to undertake an agri-food transition to a plant-based ecological system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;The current industrialized agri-food system is expanding at the cost of the destruction of ecosystems that regulate the global climate. What are we going to eat when the damage is irreparable?&#8221; the group says.
