But, be that as it may, we finally have an answer to an age-old question: What is the right way to eat a cake? Scotsman Grant Harrold, former butler to now King Charles III and Queen Consort Camilla at their Highgrove home<\/strong>, has shared with his Instagram followers the answer, aimed at those who wish to have manners befitting royalty at breakfast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Ladies and gentlemen, please remember that when you have cake in the morning, you only have one,” says while holding up a basket of bread the longtime British royal family employee, a man who even worked for the late Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip.<\/strong> “But, also, offer your guests first. No matter how hungry you are or how many cakes are on the plate, you have to make sure everyone is served before the host,” he adds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
