It’s not every day you can enjoy a concert of a great artist like Bruce Springsteen. The Boss is revolutionizing the Catalan capital -also partly due to the presence of Obama and Spielberg- and tonight will be a full house at the Lluis Companys Stadium. As we know that many of you have tickets, we have organized a pre-concert plan to go with energy and be able to give it all at the show. Here is a selection of some bars and cocktail bars so you can get ready to enjoy Springsteen.
Backstage Cocktails & Snacks
Backstage is the mixology proposal of Teatro Kitchen & Bar, so you can imagine where they are going. Cocktails & snacks in an intimate, elegant atmosphere and with good music (surely something of Springsteen will fall today). Cocktails start at 10 €.
Quimet & Quimet
For over 100 years (and five generations) they have been a reference in Poble Sec in terms of preserves, tapas and montaditos. So if you want to get the boots before the concert, take a tapa of sea urchin with chips or baby squid with onions, some natural scallops or loquats with anchovies; they also have almost all options in mounted format. Of course, don’t miss the vermouth and a good beer on tap.
Papagayo Cocktails & Food
If what you want is to have a snack before the concert, but also take advantage and have a few cocktails, Papagayo will solve it quickly. With a fusion cuisine to make you travel with every bite, you can order marinated oysters with Michelada, Portuguese stew meat croquette, roasted baby potatoes with chipotle sauce and citrus ali-oli or white fish ceviche, michelada, smoked herring roe and corn toast, among other delicacies. To drink, a long list of signature cocktails from €8.50.
Taps Bar
If you want to have some tapas before the concert, a good option is Taps Bar. As its name suggests, they specialize in dishes to share: bravas, fried eggs, mussels, squid or pork cheeks, among others. Besides, it is only 10 minutes away from the stadium, so you can have a snack before the show starts.
La Tasqueta de Blai
A typical pintxo bar where you can have a bite of everything and be ready for the concert. Here they serve miniature gastronomic bites inspired by the tastiest cuisines of the world and in a relaxed atmosphere to enjoy with friends. They have a wide variety of pintxos and tapas.
Xix Bar
For fans of gin and tonic: this is your temple. It is the first cocktail bar specialized in this drink. Located in an old dairy, here they love sophisticated Gins but without a tie. All accompanied by good music and the best atmosphere to enjoy with friends. The drinks start at 8,50 €.
