Mad Cool Festival has returned this 2023 in style, with a new location -this year the venue has moved to the Villaverde area. With an international line-up, attendees have already been able to enjoy a first day with stellar performances by Robbie Williams, Lizzo or Lil Nas X. But there are still two days left (July 7 and 8). You can expect artists such as Red Hot Chili Peppers, Liam Gallagher, The Prodigy, Mumford & Sons, Sam Smith or Years & Years, among others. As in any self-respecting festival, in addition to music, there are also experiences for people to have fun between concerts. Of course, the classic MadCool Ferris wheel. But also other activities in the different stands, such as Johnnie Walker, who this year have prepared baskets for people to basket and get gifts.
And, of course, there is also plenty of food and drink. For this edition, the organization has prepared a gastronomic line-up to match with more than 30 food trucks. It is worth mentioning the proposal of the chef Angel Leon with his Taberna del Chef del Mar in collaboration with the MAAVI Foundation. They will be serving casual dishes such as mollete de parpatana tuna, croquettes of choco or marine nachos.
Food for all tastes
Another classic that can be enjoyed between concerts are the croquettes of Santerra, in its Cozina format. Fans of hamburgers will be able to taste the delicious burgers of Goiko, The Hype or Brooklyn Town, among others. If what you want is a good pizza, you will have to approach the foodtruck of El Rebost De L’avia or the stand of pizzeria Nómadas. For vegans there are also options such as The Veggie Point or Fantastic V.
Latin American food will also be available at Dame Tacos, La Pequeña Habana and Good Stuff Mex. On the other hand, Asian cuisine lovers will be able to order Asian Street Food and Sákale. Finally, one of the highlights will be the sweet section, with McDonald’s McFlurrys, Guapaletas, Crêpe & Roll, Waffle Land or Delish Vegan Doughnuts.
As you can see, there will be no shortage of gastro options so you can enjoy Mad Cool with a full belly.
