The Hello Kitty café has just been installed at Somerset House in London, as a project of ARTBOX Café in the framework of its exhibition ‘CUTE‘.

This project, dedicated to the Hello Kitty universe, is inspired by the Japanese culture of kawaii (cute, cuddly) themed cafés where even the everyday can be elevated by the cuteness aesthetic, which also cuts across all cultural spheres.

Their fantasy-stimulated menu will serve a menu of hot and cold drinks, accompanied by wraps, bagels, sandwiches and themed sweets. All starring anime’s cutest kitty and her cast of characters, from her ‘Cainnamoroll Coco Mango’, the ‘Hello Kitty Chai Latte’ to the Hello Kitty Strawberry Cream Hot Chocolate.

The Hello Kitty-inspired Somerset House café will be open until 14 April.
