We can’t think of a better place to visit to resume our particular foodie route through Tapas Magazine’s T de Oro restaurants of 2023. It is the restaurant Landua, owned by Alberto Cruz and María Cambeiro, located in the town of Mazaricos in A Coruña. It has earned on its own merits the recognition of being the most outstanding restaurant in Galicia in our Guide to eat and drink Spain 2023/24, which includes almost a thousand restaurants throughout Spain. So if you want to consult this gastro yearbook, you can purchase it here.

Landua Restaurant

It is literally Alberto Cruz and María Cambeiro’s home: they live and work in this rural project, a stone’s throw from Ézaro and Pindo mountain, on the Costa da Morte. On the first floor, he cooks the dishes that his partner serves to customers at the five tables upstairs, with no other employees and through a single menu at an unbeatable price. It is a contemporary recreation of village life in Galicia. On the plate, conciseness and raw material from nearby producers, both inland and coastal.
