One of the things that generates more curiosity in social networks is to know how much it costs to eat in famous restaurants in other parts of the world. For this, many influencers share their gastronomic experiences to reveal this mystery to their followers. One of the best-known foodie tiktokers is @aquisandrax. The Miami-based maña usually publishes a lot of reviews with many trendy American restaurants. A few months ago she discovered the viral paella burger in Miami or showed us what it’s like to dine at Bad Bunny’s restaurant. And now, taking advantage of being in New York, Sandra has decided to try one of the restaurants that José Andrés has in Manhattan: Mercado Little Spain.

The Spaniard shared a video with everything she ordered at the restaurant and also showed how much the final bill was. Accompanied by a friend, Sandra first ordered a portion of Valencian paella, with positive comments -in fact, her companion was Valencian and gave it a thumbs up-. Other dishes they tried included a glass of gazpacho ($7), chistorra-chip ($14), Plaza Mayor calamari ($17) and Galician-style octopus with mashed potatoes ($19).

When the final price was shown, the bill came to $66.97. However, this bill did not include the paella dish which, according to Sandra herself, she had tried at another stand and was priced at $18. Adding up the total, the meal came out to about $42 per diner. Considering the average ticket in New York and being a José Andrés restaurant, what do you think of the price?
