We make our last stop of the year in our particular gastronomic route to discover the Golden T of Tapas Magazine 2023. On this occasion, we visit the restaurant Al Norte, the Golden T of Extremadura award. A proposal of Ruth Vicente that defends the traditional recipes but giving it a modern and fusion touch. Al Norte
Ruth used to work at the Land Registry, but decided to change the direction of her life. This 180-degree turn led her to study cooking and work in some of the best restaurants in Madrid, but her ‘north’ was in Jarandilla de la Vera, the town where she was born. That is why in 2017 she set up her own business, of which she is owner and mistress, and expresses herself through spectacular dishes that change every season, but are always on the rise.
