A few days ago, the final of the World Class Competition was held to decide the best bartender in Spain in 2023. The event, which took place at the Jerónimo restaurant, located inside the Madrid Edition Hotel, was attended by bartenders from all regions of Spain. David Navarro, from Lab84 Cockatil Bar in Manresa, finally won, becoming the best bartender in Spain this year.
Thanks to this title, Navarro will travel to São Paulo on September 25 to compete for the title of World’s Best Bartender of 2023 alongside the 50 best bartenders from other countries.
David Navarro is the head bartender of Lab84 Cocktail Bar, a bar located in Manresa that opened at the end of 2022 and has already become a reference of mixology in this area. His proposal is based on sophisticated and original cocktails in an exceptional atmosphere.
In addition to classic cocktails such as the Old Fashioned or the Manhattan, you can also try 12 signature cocktails created by David Navarro as the Lolas Garden (made with Vetiver Gris de Muru, Licor de flor de sauc Saint Germain, Italicus Rosolio de Bergamota, Xarop de María Lluïsa and 7% citric acid solution) or the Boulevardier Cortado (with Bulleit Bourbon, Palo Cortado and Cordial amarg de “Zumaque”). You can try them from 10 €.
In addition, you can also accompany the cocktails with some food, such as appetizers, sandwiches or croquettes.
