Shaquille O’Neal has been one of the most legendary players in the NBA. With a height of 2.16 meters, the American has always been one of the heavyweights on the court. Showing off his great size and using humor, O’Neal has teamed up with Pepsi for the new campaign to launch the mini cans that have just been launched on the market.

Entitled I wish, in the ad you can see Shaquille O’neal wishing he was a little smaller because, due to his large size, he always has difficulties in different everyday situations: in group photos, when sitting on a plane, lying on the bed, going through a door….

The soundtrack accompanying the ad is a revamped lyric of the song I Wish I Was A Little Bit Taller, released in 1995 by rapper Skee-Lo, who also appears in the video, to make it a nostalgic 1990s campaign.

Pepsi has just launched Pepsi Mini, smaller than normal cans that, as O’Neal himself says at the end of the ad, are “the perfect size, no more, no less” to accompany snacks or meals.

“We hope Pepsi fans enjoy the song and the ad, especially the taller ones, as no one is too big to enjoy the convenience, fun and incredible taste of our Pepsi Mini cans,” said Todd Kaplan, chief marketing officer for Pepsi.
