Kraft Heinz Not Company has just marked a milestone with the launch of Oscar Mayer‘s first plant-based hot dogs.

The ‘NotHotDogs‘ and ‘NotSausages‘ are presented as the perfect vegetarian options for those who want to experience the tasty and smoky experience of the original hot dogs in a cruelty-free way.

‘At The Kraft Heinz Not Company, our goal is to create mouth-watering plant-based foods that are delicious and accessible to everyone from the devout vegan to the plant-curious,’ said Lucho Lopez-May, CEO of The Kraft Heinz Not Company.

The famous hot dog brand has partnered with TheNotCompany to bring out this version that promises to be as delicious as its original meat fillings. According to the company, each bite of sausage offers a ‘smoky, savory flavor’ that resembles the real thing in both color and texture.

As for how to get them, they will first be introduced at Expo West in Anaheim, California, March 12-16, and then distributed to retailers across the U.S. later this year.
