OPEN BEER debuts with a series of artistic beers

OPEN is a new beverage brand distilled by a multi-disciplinary creative community in Los Angeles that includes skate legends Don “Nuge” Nguyen, Tino Razo, Ako and Atiba Jefferson.

They have come together under one project to channel their desire to invigorate the beer industry with diversity. At their core is the empowerment of artistic expression through networks of local creatives; a concept they have reflected in this inaugural series.

Available in three different designs, the first edition features Joe Roberts, Katsu Sawada and Meryl Smith to put their artistic signature on OPEN BEER cans. These designs will be renewed every two years based on collaboration with other artists who will continue to shape their legacy.

Brewed in collaboration with New Belgium Brewing Company, the canned beer is a crisp, very drinkable, light-bodied lager that is already available in some bars in Los Angeles.
