At a time when sustainability, the use of products and materials that pollute as little as possible and the use of food, the Australian company Good Edi has put this purpose 100% into practice. In order to combat the waste of single-use cups when ordering coffee to go, they have launched a new product: cups that you can eat.

They are made with high quality natural ingredients. One cup of Good Edi contains oats, cereals, flour, water, bran, wheat bran, sugar, vegetable oil and salt. They use no artificial flavorings or preservatives and only work with ethical Australian suppliers. Plus, if you don’t eat it, it will break down naturally in just a few weeks.

According to the brand itself, its flavor is similar to a waffle cone, but without being so sweet. And it is made so that it keeps its shape with the coffee and does not drip for several hours.

Its founders decided to carry out this project when they saw that more than one billion disposable cups end up in landfills every year in Australia alone.

In just one year, Good Edi has managed to position itself as a good and delicious option with which to drink coffee, and even celebrities like Chris Hemsworth are fans of this product. At the moment, they offer two types of cups: the Original, available in two different sizes; and another one that comes dipped in chocolate. The price is about 21 € for a pack of 6 cups, or 3.40 € for a single cup. However, at the moment they are only shipping within Australia. So we will have to wait to try them here.
