Throughout the last few seasons, we have been able to see how fashion is endlessly inflating objects that represent aesthetic fusions between modernism and caricaturization.
It’s a more implosive type of thickness, linked to an obsession with inflation, exaggeration and fantasy as a creative exploration that now results in these sneakers by Jet-Puffed in collaboration with footwear brand Kizik.
The S’mores collaborative shoe, which embodies that collision between gastronomy and fashion, features a cozy and delicious laceless silhouette ‘ideal for when your hands are covered in sticky marshmallow goo,’ the release note states.
These Jet-Puffed x Kizik quilted sneakers evoke the look of roasted marshmallow, with a golden brown upper that blends in with the white sole. Styling-wise, it takes on similar characteristics to the ‘Kizik Roamer’ silhouette with a foam sole, but with a quilted upper inspired by marshmallow puffing.

The limited edition S’mores shoe went on sale yesterday, August 8, ahead of National S’mores Day on August 10. Each pair costs about 108 euros and is available exclusively at kizik.com.
