If you’re a fan of eggs Benedict and want to give it a different twist, today we bring you a recipe that has gone viral in recent weeks: Turkish eggs. Officially called Çılbır, this is a recipe that perfectly combines eggs with yogurt for the tastiest breakfast. In addition, it is super easy to prepare. We leave you the step by step so you can try it at home.

Turkish eggs recipe

Ingredients:

  • 200 g Greek yogurt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 25 g unsalted butter
  • Olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • Salt and pepper
  • Chopped fresh dill
  • Toasted bread

Preparation:

  • First, prepare a saucepan with water to cook the poached eggs.
  • At the same time, in a bowl, mix the yogurt and the finely grated garlic clove.
  • In a frying pan, heat the butter and oil and add the pepper, while stirring well so that everything is integrated for 30 seconds. Then, remove and set aside.
  • When you have the poached eggs, serve the two eggs in the yogurt bowl.
  • Season them with salt and pepper to taste and you can also add a little butter and sprinkle them with dill. Serve with a piece of toast.
