Micro-gastronomic trends continue to flood the web, giving way now to a new pastry creation that has gone viral on Instagram and TikTok. The leading platforms of the moment are projecting this new culinary trend consisting of a mix of banana, Kinder Bueno and a puff pastry crunch.

Whether you’re a chocolate lover or a croissant lover, you won’t be left indifferent. It can also be made in a ‘healthier’ version, without chocolate and sugar, as Masterchef 6 winner Marta Verona has demonstrated.

This new sweet iteration of the croissant and the chocolate-banana combination is quick and easy to make. First, using a spoon or other utensil, part of the banana is hollowed out to make room for the Kinder bars, placing them along the entire length of the fruit.

The next step is to cut the puff pastry into strips to roll up the banana, which is then painted with egg and baked in the oven at 180 degrees for about 15 minutes. The final touch of sugar or toppings is up to the creativity of the author.
