September has started more rainy than ever and that does not help to overcome the typical post-holiday depression that comes with the “back to school”. That’s why from Tapas we have proposed to sweeten this week with an express brownie recipe that does not involve hours of preparation. You only need 3 minutes in the microwave and your chocolate dessert will be ready very quickly. Do you dare to try it at home?

Express brownie recipe in the microwave

  • 2 eggs
  • 80 g all-purpose flour
  • 40 g cocoa powder
  • 100 g sugar
  • Pinch of salt
  • 125 g butter
  • A dash of milk
  • Chopped nuts, chocolate chips, ice cream or peanut butter (optional)

  • Take as large a bowl as possible and add the eggs and sugar and beat a little. Then add the salt and the melted butter and stir until well integrated.
  • Then add the flour with the cocoa powder and mix well until the dough is consistent enough. If you feel like adding walnuts, chop them and sprinkle them over the batter.
  • Then, put the cup in the microwave at maximum power for 3 minutes and that’s it. Let it rest for a few minutes and you can serve it with vanilla ice cream, cream, peanut butter or chocolate chips.
