Empanadas Malvón has managed to establish itself as the most important chain specializing in Argentine empanadas in Spain. The Spanish franchise founded in 2017, has had an unstoppable trajectory and currently has more almost 90 locations in Spain. In addition, it made the international leap by opening three establishments in Porto. As if that were not enough, at the end of 2023 it also closed a deal with Glovo to become its main delivery channel.

If 2023 ended with a record, this 2024 will continue in great shape since, according to Expansión, Empanadas Malvón already plans to continue its European expansion, and over the coming months will land in countries such as Italy, France, Germany or Slovenia, while it will continue to grow in Portugal by opening in Lisbon. It also plans to open between 15 and 20 new stores in Spain, according to its CEO, Alejandro Polo, as stated in Expansión. And that is not the end of the story, because within two or three years, Malvón is likely to make the leap to the United States and Canada.

With this, the empanada chain expects to have a turnover of 20 million euros in 2024 (16.4 million euros last year), as specified by the aforementioned media.
