Cupra City Garage Madrid is the new place to be that combines culture, motor and gastronomy

Más allá de ser un espacio de exhibición de vehículos, ya se ha convertido en un hotspot de la capital donde siempre pasan cosas.

The Cupra City Garage Madrid opened its doors just a month ago and, beyond being a mere vehicle exhibitor, it has already become a reference space in terms of culture, events and even gastronomy. Located in a strategic location in the capital – Serrano Street 88 – and being the largest in the world (over 1,300 m2), this multidisciplinary space breathes all the essence of Cupra, a brand that has managed to connect with a different public, promoting branches a priori away from the engine such as music, fashion or food.

One of the strengths of this Cupra City Garage is that there are always interesting things happening. The team has managed to create a very complete and varied cultural agenda, ranging from concerts, talks or exhibitions, to parties and collaborations with the most avant-garde brands of the current scene. For example, this March 16 there will be an afterparty with the guys from the app Jomo, to close the week of art. On March 18 they have organized the meeting ‘Serielizados’ about the current series Red Queen, which will be attended by the director Koldo Serra, the writer Juan Gómez-Jurado and its protagonist Hovik Keuchkerian. In addition, on March 21 will be recorded live the Podcast ‘Delirios corrientes’ with Santiago Isla; and on March 25 will be held ‘Inconversations with Jaime Alvarez, designer and creator of the firm Mans.

From breakfasts to afterwork: this is its gastro proposal

But that’s not all. It also has a gastronomic space, run by Life Gourmet Catering, which offers a simple but very effective menu, based on premium dishes with traditional references that never fail and the creative touch so characteristic of the brand. The red shrimp and potato salad, the stew and bacon croquette or the hake and cuttlefish meatballs in pepitoria with butifarra sausage, are just some of the surprising culinary proposals that you will be able to taste. And if you are a fan of daily menus, here they offer an excellent option for 19 euros.

First thing in the morning, you can start with their avocado and sun-dried tomato toast, their churros or their potato omelette skewer. But, in addition, with a section of sandwiches, pastries and a liquid menu with soft drinks, beers, wines and spirits. Its opening hours are uninterrupted from 9:30 am to 7:30 pm from Monday to Friday (on Saturdays it opens and closes half an hour later), so during the day, it is also a great option if you are looking for a space to work, meet or take a break.

So, when do you say you’ll be stopping by Cupra City Garage Madrid?
