If you thought you had seen it all in the world of cheeses, today we bring you an original proposal elaborated by Veldhuyzen Kaas under the Basiron brand, a Dutch company that makes artisanal cheeses with striking colors and flavors. You have at your disposal black, purple, red and even three-color cheeses.

One of the most surprising is the Black Lemon, whose black appearance attracts a lot of attention. It is a Gouda cheese inspired by Asian cuisine, which uses black lemon, which, apart from giving it the black tone, also gives it a refreshing lemon and lime flavor. In addition, activated charcoal is added to reinforce the color and give it a touch of licorice to ensure stimulation of all the senses.

Also purple, red or tricolor cheeses

But cheeselovers will also be amazed by the wide variety of colors offered by Basiron. Another curious product is the Lavender Basiron. It has a soft pinkish purple color, the result of the combination of lavender and seaweed with a soft and creamy cheese. Another explosive flavor is its spicy Tricolor cheese, obtained by combining red bell pepper, green bell pepper and white goat cheese.

In their catalog they also have pesto rosso cheese, hot chili and even wasabi. The price of these products varies quite a lot, since in Spain it is not found in too many stores, but if you search in different websites, the kilo would be between 22 and 36 euros, depending on the flavor.

If you want to surprise at your next lunch or dinner with the most creative cheese board, you already know which cheeses to include.
